Magic of Mayflower Theatre: A Review

I love the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton (mayflower.org.uk), not only for its history and beautiful décor but also for its amazing repertoire.

Whenever I see posters for the Birmingham Royal Ballet (brb.org.uk), I always try to make time for their performances. Everything directed by the magnificent Carlos Acosta is outstanding, and Saturday’s performance of Cinderella was no exception—it was truly breathtaking.

First of all, there’s the beautiful music of Prokofiev, my favorite composer. Then you have the best dancers, dazzling costumes, and stunning set designs.

And of course, there’s the gorgeous story—one of love, resilience, and believing in magic, no matter what life throws at you.

I loved it so much that I cried.

I can also honestly admit that I still believe in magic… and I’m still waiting for my prince—or perhaps more of a king, considering my age and life experience!

With lots of love, as always,
