Southampton supports creativity in all varieties.
And the Multi-Stories event organised by Southampton Forward https://southamptonforward.org.uk/multi-stories-2025/ was a living proof of that.
This weekend, Westquay Multi-Storey Car Park was transformed into a massive platform for street art, a unique shopping experience, skating, great music, street food, and creative workshops.
What is usually a regular parking space became vibrant and fun with mind-blowing works of art. It wasn’t easy to shortlist photos of the works that I loved the most.
This year’s theme, ‘Connections,’ celebrates art’s power to unite people and communities. It is inspired by the idea that “we have more in common than sets us apart.”
It was an enjoyable, high-energy, and inspirational day out for families and solo visitors. I really hope the car park stays like this for a long time.
Some of my favourite stalls :
Nadia Bevis, https://www.fernwear.co.uk/about, offers beautiful, ethically reworked fashion items. They’re stunning! Nadia, I hope to see you again soon in Southampton.
Raw, natural, handcrafted jewellery by Amy North is worth checking out. The shell earrings that I bought have been complemented several times. https://amynorthjewellery.co.uk/
Thank you, https://southamptonforward.org.uk/, for organising such a fantastic event.
With Love As Always,
Yana De Lilac
