On Purposeful Writing

Becoming a writer was a surprise to me. But then I realised it was an organic and meaningful part of my spiritual journey.
To begin with, I hold a degree in philology and linguistics. This educational background gave me a love for words and their power.
Through my job in sales, I write business messages daily.
I am reaching out to people I don’t know, trying to generate their interest in engaging with me for further conversation. It took me years to create a style that works. It is a challenging yet gratifying job.
I believe in the power of words. We overuse words both in writing and talking too much.
I have read in philosophy books that talking too much can waste our vital energy. Less is more powerful.
What’s most important to me is writing only about what I love.
My writing typically stays under the 350-word threshold. I love clarity, precision and getting straight to the point. Time is the most precious asset we own.
I love writing as if I am talking to you directly, adding all my emotions to it. I never use AI for writing. I never shall! Your connection with my words is what brings them to life.
And finally, I have been asking myself why I am doing this. There are doubts, and impostor syndrome kicks in from time to time. But then, the Universe always sends me something to confirm I am on the right track.
Receiving direct messages from my readers about specific topics that resonate with them fills me with happiness and gratitude.
I could not put it in better words than Simon Sinek: “Happiness comes from what we do; fulfilment comes from why we do it.”
I write because I feel fulfilled, and there is a strong sense of purpose in my life.
Thank you for reading this.
