On the definition of solo travelling

I learn from my readers and people I talk to in various situations that many out there would love to travel solo, but lack the courage and confidence to do so. My writing would help someone to embrace and enjoy solo travelling.
I want to go back to basics, clarifying the solo travelling definition.
Many assume that solo travellers = singles.
Not the case.
Through my years of solo travel, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting a diverse range of people who choose to travel alone. They come from all walks of life – married, divorced, single, widowed, with kids. This diversity is a testament to the fact that solo travel is for everyone, regardless of relationship status.
Each of these individuals has their own unique reasons and purposes for choosing to travel solo. Some seek social interaction, eager to meet new people and make new friends. Others have different hobbies or interests from their partners. And some crave the freedom and solitude that solo travel offers.
Some are looking for social interaction, meeting new people, and making new friends. Some have different hobbies from their partners. Some want time and space to be on their own.
Many travel solo for the first time, and many who do it regularly.
If you’re feeling shy about solo travel, remember that it’s incredibly easy to start a conversation with another solo traveller. A simple question like, ‘Are you travelling solo?’ can open up a world of possibilities and connections.
For those who are still considering, I know some of you out there, I wanted to say “Feel the fear, do it anyway”. There is a book with this title.
If there are specific aspects of solo travel that you’re curious about or would like me to delve into, please reach out. Let’s build a community where we can share our solo travel experiences and learn from each other.

With Love as Always,
