I love art, I love the positive energy and interesting people.
Friday night I was in the right place for all this at the Heko Abstract Art Exhibition opening.
Gallery Grounds, a new art gallery, is located in Vincent’s Walk. It is also a part of Coffeology coffee shop that is known for its unique blend of a coffee, interior design office, and beautiful cakes https://www.coffeelogy.co.uk/.
The exhibition presented a collection of work by a talented young abstract painting artist Orkun https://www.hekoabstractart.co.uk/.
I fell in love with his paintings straight away. I have always been a fan of Kandinsky and I definitely can see the influence. The colours are just amazing. You can see the set theme of spring, renewal and transformation. All of this resonates with me strongly and connects to my previous post on spring in the City.
Once again, In the words of my favourite Depeche Mode:
Complicating, circulating
New Life, New Life
Operating, Generating
New Life, New Life
As for me, I am now a proud owner of one of the works by Orkun 🙂
The exhibition will continue until 11.04.2025. Check it out and try the most amazing pistachio cheesecake while you are there 🙂
With Love as Always,
Yana De Lilac
